Remember this - Biden is NOT president yet!

Post by Whig » Mon Dec 21, 2020 12:48 pm

In spite of what all news networks are openly supporting by their discussing "President-Elect Biden" and his cabinet appointments, etc., he is NOT president. Keep close eyes on the news. 75+ million people are not standing by just waiting for Biden to fraudulently take this country away from them. President Trump is quiet for a reason. Too many prayers for a great America for this silence to fall short of the goal for continuing the blessed goal of making and keeping America great. Biden and his false prophets cannot accomplish this.

Let's see what this post generates!

Merry Christmas.

Well, yes, Trump is still president, and Biden is President Elect. This is just as it always is after an election, the one that wins the electoral college vote is President Elect until sworn in.
I know the news is reporting on Cabinet choices and all, but I don't recall any of them saying that Biden is President yet. Guess I am not sure what you are saying here. :-)

Biden is, as of today, only the PRESUMPTIVE President-elect.

He STILL has to jump the final hurdle on 1/6/21, when a clause in Article ii of the Constitution may, or may not, be invoked by members of Congress. But that's it - if the GOP whiffs (as they often do) on THIS one, we are well and truly screwed. But, IF we can hold the Senate, then Biden's (oh, let's be honest and say, to hell with the puppet) HARRIS' plans can be thwarted for at least two years. Looking ahead, 2022 is not a particularly auspicious year for the GOP, and 2024 is a horse-race all around. If Trump loses in January, he'll probably run again then. But, for the foreseeable future, watch your six and keep your powder dry!

Thanks for the important clarification of what's ahead. I still believe Trump will be victorious. I HAVE to believe that!

Merry Christmas! May be our last one of freedom unless Trump is victorious.

Agreed all around. Always chuckle at "Whig" - my GGF, Horace Barstow Hosmer was, briefly, ca. 1856, a CA State Representative, from San Francisco, and a Whig! Not a word in every day usage.

The link below is to a fascinating article, if you choose to carefully read it. The article discusses how the Supreme Court, in refusing to NOT hear the case of Texas vs. Pennsylvania, set the country up for only one alternative to prevent "disunion" of the states, who are in disagreement regarding the validity of this presidential election. That alternative is a military one. The courts, the Supreme Court in this example, are supposed to settle disagreements of this magnitude, between states, peacefully. In choosing NOT to hear the case, based on "lack of standing", they leave the military option as the only remedy.

The article is very clear and concise. Fascinating discussion I have never seen more clearly defined.

We may have an interesting next few weeks to witness some unusual history in the making.

Whig, thank you so much for the reference! That is one of the best, and clearest, articles I have EVER read, hands down.

In my own clumsy way I have attempted to articulate - on Facebook and other forums - the point made that Texans ARE affected by what happens elsewhere, but fell far short of that article.
