Here is a government document listing (61) Krag serial numbers, mostly carbines, in West Virginia during 1912. Lists the name of civilians they were sold to, but did not match up the serial numbers with individuals.
The document is titled "Conditions In the Paint Creek District, West Virginia" put together by a sub-committee of the Sixty-Third Congress dealing with coal mines and strikes.
The listing of Krag serial numbers starts on page 1570.
