Re: Amazing Summary of Current Voluntary Servitude We Have in the United States!

All this is pretty surreal. How can a "mob" enter the capital? Congresspersons scrambling for their lives? Can that actually happen in this country? Or was it allowed to happen? Something just doesn't pass the smell test here. Are all Trump supporters now looney tunes? Who will now stand up for cons...

Re: 1892 Krags - discussion starter?

Then there were the "2,800 magazine rifles, model 1892 , altered to model 1892, sec...

Re: 1892 Krags - discussion starter?

This Springfield Armory report from fiscal year ending 6/30/1897 shows that 2,800 Model 1892 rifles were altered to 2nd Pattern. This second specimen likely is part of the the 2,800.

Re: PIGS!

If I lived 15 hours closer I'd ask if you needed any help exterminating the vermin. Three years ago on Christmas Eve I was in a treestand in Louisiana hunting pigs at some inlaws. Few nights later a got one with my Dad's M1917 sporter. Life is different down there and it is agreeable with me.

Re: Krags in the Movies

Culpeper had already listed the movie Shoulder Arms with Charlie Chaplin. Here is a good picture of Charlie. You can, if you wish, watch the movie on YouTube.

Re: In the Trenches

Personally, I have enough ammo loaded and ready to be reloaded that I should have enough in every caliber for the rest of my life for hunting and occasional plinking. And enough to give my sons/grandsons a good start. Now if the Zombie apocalypse were to be realized, well then I will be woefully sho...

Re: Exercise With Krag Jorgensen Rifle

I believe Culpeper is very close in his estimate of "about 8:45" in the morning. Considering geographically where Pennsylvania is located, the margin of error would be +/- 15 minutes.
