Old powder density

Loading 180 grain PSP’s over 38 grains of old IMR-4064 using the powder measure I finished off the can. It may have been a late 1970’s purchase. All my old powder and primers have given satisfying results as I worked my way back into shooting my ‘98 Krag. Now I was going to load all the brass and bu...

Re: Bench rest shoulder - ouch!

Butlersrangers,<br />Thanks for the information regarding the screws and barrel band. Yesterday I pulled the action for the first time and found the rear trigger guard screw the tightest. Since I had the action out i cleaned the metal bits w/0000 steel wool and oil, finding few areas of concern. Now...

A few days ago I took my 96 Krag to the range for another attempt to make sense of it patterning at 50 yards - to the right and very low. First step was to ask an assist from a neighbor. Re: gun sales

Butlersrangers,

Amen to that. I no longer send money to political causes, Id rather support the NRA as they manifest our interests with action. I also buy ammo and components.

Re: gun sales

Last year I began a process that has developed with the assistance an NRA RSO/Instructor and a lady in town who had enjoyed shooting many years previously. The two of them put the wheels in motion to revitalize an earlier ladies shooting group. The plan was to provide instruction and reintroduction ...

Re: UN Office of Disarmament Affairs

And so the insanity grows . . .
